Key Responsibilities
1. Finance Operations and Accounting
Manage overall accounting operations, including Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL), Fixed Assets (FA), Cost Accounting, and Inventory Accounting.
Ensure accurate accounting practices and timely confirmation of inter-company (I/C) transactions and monthly balances.
Oversee day-to-day financial activities to maintain operational efficiency and compliance.
2. Internal Control, Policies, and Procedures
Develop, implement, and document business processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to strengthen internal controls.
Identify opportunities for process improvements by leveraging monitoring mechanisms and data insights.
3. Financial Reporting
Manage month-end close processes, including accruals and reconciliation of GL accounts.
Conduct thorough financial statement reviews and resolve open items to ensure accuracy.

Maintain appropriate controls and checks for financial reporting to meet internal and external standards.
4. Budgeting and Forecasting
Support the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team in preparing annual budgets, forecasts, and periodic Management Information System (MIS) reports.
5. Controllership Reporting
Prepare monthly reports for the controllership function, addressing responsibilities across assigned areas.
6. Inventory Management
Administer periodic inventory counts across all locations and analyze variances to ensure alignment with operational and financial goals.
7. Treasury Functions
Manage banking operations, cash flow forecasting, and cash management activities.
Ensure compliance with the organization's foreign exchange policy.
8. Audit and Compliance
Oversee all financial, tax, and group audits, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and reviews.
Collaborate with consultants and in-house teams to meet statutory compliance requirements, including company law and tax laws.
9. Taxation
Ensure timely compliance with direct and indirect taxes such as Income Tax, GST, TDS, and transfer pricing regulations.
Support associate entities with tax-related queries and ensure regulatory adherence.
10. Stakeholder and Relationship Management
Maintain cordial and professional relationships with bankers, auditors, consultants, and cross-functional teams to facilitate seamless financial operations.
11. Strategic Financial Leadership
Provide support to the financial leadership team on various initiatives and strategic
projects aimed at enhancing the financial health and performance of the organization.
