Job Title: Account Executive (Accounting and HR) Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Account Executive to join our finance and human resources team. The Account Executive will be responsible for managing financial accounts, reconciling financial statements, preparing reports, as well as handling HR-related tasks such as employee onboarding, payroll coordination, and HR administration. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Accounting: Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations. Prepare financial statements, reports, and analysis, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting regulations and company policies. Assist with the month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations. Conduct regular reviews of financial transactions to identify discrepancies, resolve issues, and ensure proper coding and classification. Collaborate with internal teams, such as procurement and operations, to gather financial information and provide support for budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for cost control and process improvement. Assist with the preparation of tax returns and coordinate with external auditors during annual audits. Maintain a thorough understanding of accounting principles, standards, and regulations to ensure compliance and accurate financial reporting. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and changes in accounting regulations that may impact financial operations. Participate in special projects, process improvements, and system implementations as required. Human Resources: Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including preparing offer letters, conducting orientation sessions, and coordinating necessary documentation. Coordinate payroll activities, ensuring accuracy and timely processing of payroll. Maintain employee records and update HR systems with changes in employee status, benefits, and personal information. Administer employee benefits programs and assist employees with benefits-related inquiries. Assist in implementing HR policies, procedures, and programs, ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations. Support employee relations activities, including conflict resolution and addressing employee grievances. Assist in performance management processes, including performance reviews, goal setting, and performance improvement plans. Support recruitment and selection processes by posting job openings, screening resumes, and participating in interviews. Assist in training and development initiatives, including coordinating training programs and tracking employee training progress. Maintain confidentiality of HR and financial information. Requirements: Bachelor\'s degree in accounting, finance, human resources, or a related field. Proven experience in accounting and HR roles, with knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations. Proficiency in accounting software, HRIS systems, and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines. Good organizational and time management skills. Knowledge of employment laws and regulations. Professional certifications such as CPA or HR certifications (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) are preferred.
