Through workforce and economic initiatives, partnerships, grants, certification, skills development, and more, the Academic Program Manager will utilize existing and new partnerships with colleges and universities to equip them with resources to grow and enhance their cyber programs across marketing including, but not limited to Europe, India, Middle East, Africa, Southeast Asia, and more. The Academic Program Manager will primarily be responsible for managing, facilitating, and executing strategic partnerships, sales, and specialized initiatives across existing partners and ministries. The position will work under the Director and will enhance the support for institutions through the EC-Council Academia Series and Partnership model (www.eccouncil.org/academia).
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor\'s degree in the field of Business, or a technology-related discipline closely related and 10+ years\' of closely related experience in Higher Education and EdTech Sales. Equivalent combinations of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities have been achieved are also acceptable.
Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in managing and leading a network of onsite and remote employees.
  • Experience with the education governing bodies and administrations is highly regarded.
  • Experience in establishing and maintaining effective academia partnerships and working relationships.
  • Experience working with organizations and other external partners to create partnerships with a university.
  • Experience in developing marketing strategies to a diverse audience in multi-functional disciplines.
  • Experience working effectively within a fast-paced, adaptable environment with quickly changing priorities and potentially conflicting deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the principles of exemplary customer service displayed through actively listening, acknowledging, and responding to inquiries.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of business relations through taking ownership and resolving each concern or problem as appropriate, exhibiting professionalism and expertise in every interaction.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of consulting methods, techniques, and practices.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of working within global business networks.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of information technology and Cybersecurity industries.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of entrepreneurship and business operation(s) strategies and execution.
  • Experience in project management with planning, analyzing, and coordination skills.
  • Experience in traveling locally, nationally, and globally.
  • Experience in influencing change in individuals, institutions, and corporations to create a more sustainable environment.
Essential Duties:
  • Assessed and evaluates business potential of partnerships, providing recommendations when appropriate.
  • Advises partnerships in strategic Cybersecurity domains that foster development.
  • Develops general practices, policies and procedures to assist in the successful launch and operations of new business partnerships.
  • Educates and consults in appropriate business development areas.
  • Develops and manages relationships with key stakeholders to promote market outreach and business development
  • Creates, develops, and supports delivery of Cyber Security programs and/or events that promote development, growth, resulting in student enrollment.
  • Supports funding opportunities and formalizes business development plans and presentations.
  • Assists and educates students and faculty on entrepreneurship strategies and new technology.
