Install new air conditioning units according to project specifications, which includes assembling components like ducts, wiring, and refrigerant lines.
Maintenance:
Perform routine maintenance, such as cleaning air filters and coils, and conduct inspections to prevent future failures and improve efficiency.
Repair:
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults in AC systems and repair or replace defective parts like compressors, fans, and thermostats.
Customer service:
Interact professionally with customers, explain system issues and repairs, and provide advice on system usage and maintenance.
Record keeping:
Maintain accurate and timely service documentation and records of all service calls and repairs.
Safety and compliance:
Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards.
Other tasks:
May be required to assist with creating installation budgets, provide technical support to junior staff, and respond to emergency calls.
