Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Category Manager at abCoffee in Mumbai. The Category Manager will be responsible for managing and developing product categories, analyzing market trends, negotiating contracts with suppliers, managing procurement processes, and driving sales growth.

The candidate will own the entire category of merchandise, online business across marketplaces, and partnerships for the gifts and all B2B sales.

Qualifications

• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze market trends and consumer data to inform category strategy
• Category Management: Experience in managing product categories and developing category strategies
• Develop category insights and transform them into recommendations for business growth, Category data & Shopper Analysis
• Procurement: Experience in managing procurement processes, including inventory management, budgeting, and vendor relations
• Sales: Ability to drive sales growth through effective category management and product positioning
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Bachelor\'s degree in business administration, supply chain management, or related field
• Experience in the food and beverage industry is preferred but not required
• Experience in handling online marketplaces: Amazon, Flipkart, and or fast delivery places like Zepto, Instamart, BlinkIt
