(Not from constructions) Job Summary A CAD Engineer is responsible for the creation of technical and detailed design drawings using CAD software applications. They create virtual models and plans to ensure precision down to the smallest details. Responsibilities: Prepares 3D CAD data and detailed design/manufacturing/weldment/assembly/general arrangement drawings, hydraulic/electrical schematics, layouts, general arrangements and P&IDs. Responsible for designing products using computer-aided design software applications such as AutoCAD, Pro/ENGINEER, and SolidWorks. Designs products, creates and tests prototypes, and oversees other drafters. Create designs for equipment or vehicle or machinery industry. Execute the assigned tasks/project scope within required KPI\'s. Code and test software. Define, create and maintain development methodologies, procedures and standards. Create drawings in 3-dimensional form. Aid in the selection of materials for the products. Produce final design specifications. Requirements: Proficient knowledge of CAD software tool in the area of application, viz. modeling, assembly, drawing, weldment, etc. Experience in equipment or vehicle or machinery industry. 3 Years proven experience in 3d CAD engineering.
