Job Title - Lead - Business Analyst

The Purpose of This Role

As a Business Analyst in this team, you have a unique opportunity to apply your data, technology and analytical skills to drive customer experience through engaging directly with business stakeholders on cross-functional - product development, customer experience, marketing, and technology - teams to generate the insights needed to more deeply understand customers and to develop high-impact, efficient solutions and experiences.

Organisation's Personal Investing (PI) Data Squads focus on modernizing the Data platform:

  • Modernize critical data sets (e.g.: Customer Interactions, Planning & Sales, Marketing etc.) required to support PI Business.
  • Enable Analytics, AI Modeling & Personalization through Data.
  • Support business capabilities and use cases involving a variety of Organisation tools that customers use to plan for their goals, devise investment strategies and monitor.
  • Drive Data Sharing agreements & Usage policies.
In addition, as a member of the Analytics Chapter within organsiation's Customer Knowledge and Strategic Insights (CKSI) group, you will be part of the team responsible for maintaining / developing best-in-class analytical and research expertise, developing standards, and scaling self-serve data analytics, testing and experimentation approaches.

  • You promote data awareness, data literacy and accelerate the identification and usage for business objectives.
  • You respond to Associates' primary requests for detailed table/business term descriptions and other key metadata attributes.
  • You assist teams to fully maximize the integrity, value and usefulness of our data assets.
  • You help with completeness and clarity of governance related steps to ensure implementations are fully ready for users.
  • You build product narrative for data management space with specific emphasis on various subject areas within analytical platforms.
  • You collaborate to create a Governance and Quality standard across data sources.
  • You help create documents resulting in a fully self-serviced data awareness/learning for Business data users.
  • You provide an environment to the squad for consistently enhance business data domain skills and technical skills.
  • You continue maturity on Agile Engineering practices by creating and tracking agile health metrics, manage backlog, roadmap, prioritization of the squad
  • You drive continuous improvement in business process automation and self-service dashboard.
  • You leverage existing data / reports to identify actionable insights, metrics to measure platformstability/performance and democratize learnings/insights across squads and teams.
  • You drive and execute learning agendas that tackle the critical business questions to support smart business decisions and actions with pace.

  • Strong in SQL, Data visualization tools.
  • Experience with data warehousing concepts, data modelling.
  • You will be expected to conduct analytics and research that generates the actionable insights stakeholders need to deeply understand their customers and enable the development of high[1]impact, efficient solutions and experiences.
  • You need to bring structured thinking, a data-driven approach, business savvy and a collaborative spirit to partner with stakeholders and understand critical business questions.

By being a part of the Analytics & Research Chapter in CKSI you and your work are playing a critical role in powering organsiation's future.

The Expertise we are Looking For
  • 6 - 9 years of relevant experience in software development life cycle or in Financial Domain.
  • Ability to build business product narratives, present it to non-technical and technical partners.
  • Bachelors degree in a quantitative / technical field such as Engineering, Economics, Statistics and
/ or MBA, consulting, or agency experience.
  • Proficiency with database querying tools (SQL), Data Modelling Techniques.
  • Experience with Snowflake will be plus.
  • Experience with data visualization applications (Tableau, Qlik, Domo, etc.), Programming
(Python) will be a plus.
  • Prior knowledge of Alation - data catalog tool or any other metadata management tool will be an
advantage.
  • Ability to bring in a data-driven approach to strategic business decision making.
  • Ability to generate meaningful insights through data analytics and research and to present
complex data, financial analyses, statistics, and research findings in a simple, clear and actionable

way.

Location for This Role: Bangalore - EGL

Shift timings: 11:00 am - 8:00pm (these are the official working hours so as to enable overlap with the

US; that said, associates can exercise flexi-logins/logouts from office and work remote for calls/meetings

with the US
