Purpose:
Trainees in the role are developed by hands-on experience of Uber's practices for Global Compliance and Reporting requirements.
Main Responsibility:
Contribute to projects with skills and knowledge based on curriculum of Chartered Accountancy along with individual efforts and research.
Main tasks and duties associated with the position
Centre of Excellence or Global / CIT Team undertakes
global assignments to create a global impact and
alignment.Responsibilities primarily include
Support Global teams for reporting and tax compliance.
Calculate Corporate Tax and remain updated with global tax reporting requirements
Support in Impairment Analysis, Valuation or Financial modelling for restructuring related analysis
Support global tax litigation
Support in tax policy decision making- analyzing different tax structures and working to optimize cash tax outflow
Support automation initiatives for tax and statutory reporting requirements
Required education, experience, skills, and competencies
Candidates should have cleared
CA Intermediate both groups
and should have completed 12 to 18 months articleship preferably from Big 4s or other Top tier CA firms.
Candidate should have knowledge of Indian or Global Tax Regulations.
Candidate should be good with MS Office and should have excellent communication skills.
Any certifications or licenses if needed
Candidate should be eligible to register as Industrial Trainee under the regulations of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
Any additional skills or experience that would be beneficial but are not mandatory
Exposure to Oracle ERP is desired but not mandatory.
Financial Modelling knowledge is good to have.
