Responsibilities / Expectations from the Role
Maintain the security of the organization's infrastructure, including troubleshooting, implementing security measures, and monitoring for vulnerabilities
Design, implement, and maintain security policies, procedures, and protocols
Handle security incidents, including investigating breaches, analyzing logs, and taking action to contain and resolve the issue
Monitor network traffic and system logs for suspicious activity, and analyze logs to identify potential threats
Collaborate with other IT teams and departments on security-related projects, and communicate findings and recommendations
Provide technical support, troubleshoot complex issues, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure Zscaler's security solutions are functioning optimally
Actively learn and stay current with Zscaler technologies and best practices
Provide technical support for Zscaler products like ZIA, ZPA, and ZDX, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement preventive measures
Oversee and drive the successful implementation and management of GCP solutions
Manage Web Application Firewalls (WAFs), ensuring they are optimized for threat detection and prevention, and staying current with the latest security threats
Monitor Splunk performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize searches and reports
