Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced

z/OS Mainframe System Programmer

skilled in installation, customization, troubleshooting, and maintenance of z/OS systems and ISV software tools in multi-system environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, upgrade, and customize z/OS and ISV products. Support automation (SA/390), performance, and capacity planning. Provide 24x7 on-call support for production and DR readiness. Manage hardware configuration and ensure system availability. Monitor systems proactively and resolve issues efficiently. Support Application Development, Infrastructure, and IT Ops teams.

Technical Skills:

z/OS, JCL, JES2, DFSMS, DFHSM, DFDSS, SDSF, DFSORT, TSO, ISPF, REXX, COBOL, CA Tools (CA-Deliver, CA-View, SYSVIEW, CA1, CA7), EASYTRIEVE, EOS, Folders, UNIX/Linux basics, z/VM.

Soft Skills:

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-team collaboration abilities.
