Reporting To: Vice President - Business Development
Travel Requirement: Extensive intra-zone and inter-city travel (70%+ of time on field)
Role Overview :
The Zonal Manager will be responsible for developing and managing the company's business in the assigned zone. This includes building and leading a local sales team, driving revenue growth, developing key B2B relationships, and ensuring strong brand visibility among architects, interior designers, kitchen studios, PMCs, builders, and hospitality (HoReCa) clients. This is a high-impact role requiring strategic thinking, strong relationship-building skills, and a hands-on approach to sales execution.
Key Responsibilities
1. Zone Development & Market Expansion
? Identify and develop new markets within the assigned zone to increase sales volume and brand penetration.
? Create a zonal business plan aligned with the company's sales objectives.
? Open new key accounts (distributors, kitchen companies, key fabricators, project developers, and retailers).
? Drive visibility through product presentations, sample placements, and local exhibitions.
2. Sales & Revenue Management
? Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned zone.
? Develop and execute strategies to meet growth targets across all product segments.
? Monitor sales performance, margins, and collections.
? Coordinate with the marketing and product teams for zone-specific promotions.
3. Team Building & Leadership
? Recruit, train, and manage local sales executives or representatives.
? Conduct regular team reviews and ensure performance accountability.
? Mentor team members to build long-term relationships and drive consistent results.
4. Key Relationship Management
? Establish and maintain strong relationships with:
? Architects and Interior Designers (A&D)
? Kitchen and Furniture Companies
? Builders, Developers, and PMCs
? Hospitality and HoReCa clients
? Ensure continuous engagement through product updates, sample kits, events, and joint promotions.
5. Travel & On-Ground Engagement
? Spend significant time traveling within the assigned territory to meet clients, visit showrooms, and track ongoing projects.
? Conduct frequent on-site meetings and networking visits to identify opportunities.
6. Reporting & Coordination
? Provide periodic sales forecasts, competitor intelligence, and market insights.
? Coordinate with the supply chain and warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery and inventory management.
