About the Role
We are expanding our presence in the South Zone and seeking an experienced Zonal Sales Manager who will also join as a
partner with equity (subject to vesting schedule)
.
Key Responsibilities
Drive pharmaceutical sales across the South Zone, ensuring achievement of revenue and profitability targets.
Lead and manage Regional/Area Sales Managers and Medical Representatives; coach, mentor, and build a high-performance team.
Plan and execute sales strategy, monitor performance, and take corrective actions.
Expand market presence, identify new business opportunities, and strengthen distribution networks.
Build strong relationships with doctors, pharmacists, distributors, and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
Collaborate with the marketing team for brand strategy, promotional campaigns, and CME activities.
Provide insights on new product launches, pre-launch reviews, and post-launch audits.
Prepare reports, analyse sales data, forecast demand, and support decision-making.
Contribute to strategic discussions on growth, diversification, and governance.
Candidate Profile
Education:
Graduate in Pharmacy/Life Sciences (mandatory), MBA preferred.
Experience:
10-15 years in pharmaceutical sales & marketing, with at least 2 years as Regional Sales Manager.
Track Record:
Proven ability to manage large teams and deliver zonal growth.
Skills Required:
Strong knowledge of Indian pharmaceutical industry, customer behaviour & competition.
Sales forecasting, territory management & data analysis.
Excellent communication, negotiation & relationship management skills.
Leadership mindset with ability to mentor and inspire teams.
Entrepreneurial mindset with ownership and long-term vision.
