Job Summary:



We are looking for a seasoned and strategic

Sales Manager

to lead our Business Development and Sales operations across key regions in India. This role is ideal for a high-performing sales leader with deep domain expertise in the

foam and mattress industry

. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving top-line growth, expanding retail and distribution networks, and managing a dynamic sales team to achieve ambitious business goals.

Professional Qualification:



Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline.

Experience:



Minimum 5 years of experience

in sales and business development,

exclusively in the foam and mattress industry

. Strong leadership experience with a proven track record of expanding sales territories, opening new points of sale, and managing regional teams. Demonstrated success in building and scaling retail and distribution networks.

Key Responsibilities:



Strategic Sales Planning:

Define and implement region-specific sales strategies aligned with company growth objectives.

Market Expansion:

Open new retail outlets and strengthen distribution networks in targeted geographies.

Relationship Management:

Leverage industry relationships with shopkeepers, retailers, and distributors to increase market penetration.

Team Leadership:

Build and lead a high-performance sales team; set goals, mentor team members, and drive accountability.

Business Development:

Identify, evaluate, and close high-value opportunities; secure long-term business partnerships.

Market Insights:

Conduct market intelligence to track competitor movements, consumer preferences, and industry innovations.

Sales Operations:

Oversee sales processes from lead generation to order closure and after-sales support.

Performance Monitoring:

Track sales metrics, report performance data, and forecast future sales trends to management.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

Work closely with Product, Supply Chain, and Marketing teams to deliver customer-centric solutions.

Key Skills & Competencies:



Deep understanding of the

foam and mattress industry

market dynamics. Established network with shopkeepers, retail partners, and distributors in the sector. Strong leadership, negotiation, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and relationship-building capabilities. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems for sales tracking and reporting. Goal-oriented mindset with the ability to deliver under pressure and exceed targets.
