Job Description

A Zonal Manager in the solar industry drives regional sales, manages P&L, builds and leads sales teams, and ensures excellent customer experience by executing strategy, optimizing operations, and fostering cross-functional collaboration for revenue growth in residential and commercial solar projects. They are responsible for market expansion, achieving sales targets, analyzing trends, and coordinating with engineering/logistics for seamless project fulfillment, requiring extensive travel and leadership. Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Strategy:

Develop and execute zonal sales plans, own revenue targets, identify new market opportunities, and spearhead market penetration.

Team Leadership:

Recruit, train, mentor, and manage teams of sales managers, team leaders, and field executives, fostering a high-performance culture.

Financial Management:

Manage the zonal Profit & Loss (P&L), control costs, and ensure optimal resource allocation for ROI.

Customer Experience:

Oversee the end-to-end customer journey, coordinate with technical teams (engineering, logistics), and resolve post-sales issues.

Operations & Reporting:

Streamline field operations, define KPIs, monitor dashboards, and prepare sales reports and forecasts for senior management.

Market Analysis:

Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform strategy.
