Job Title: Zonal Sales Manager - TMT Steel Bars



Department: Sales



Reports to: Head of Sales / HR



Job Purpose:



The Zonal Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales, revenue generation, and market expansion within the assigned zone. This role involves leading and managing a team of 10 members, including Customer Relationship Executives (CREs) and Area Sales Managers (ASMs), ensuring achievement of sales targets, and building a strong dealer/distributor network for TMT steel bars.

Key Responsibilities:



Sales & Revenue Growth:



Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the zone.

Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to increase market share.

Ensure consistent revenue generation through dealer, distributor, and project sales.

Team Leadership & Development

Lead, motivate, and manage a team of CREs and ASMs (approx. 10 team members).

Conduct regular performance reviews, provide coaching, and foster team-building activities.

Drive a performance-driven culture by setting clear objectives and monitoring KPIs.

Market Expansion & Dealer Management

Build and strengthen relationships with distributors, dealers, builders, and contractors.

Expand dealer network in untapped regions and improve market penetration.

Ensure timely collection of payments and adherence to company credit policies.

Customer Relationship & Retention:



Ensure excellent customer service standards are maintained by the team.

Resolve escalated customer issues promptly to maintain strong brand reputation.

Support the team in building long-term relationships with key clients.

Sales Strategy & Planning:



Analyze competitor activities, market trends, and business opportunities in the zone.

Work closely with the Marketing team for promotional campaigns and brand visibility.

Implement structured sales strategies and action plans to meet organizational goals.

Reporting & Compliance:



Submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and market intelligence to senior management.

Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical practices, and operational guidelines.

Monitor and control zonal expenses in line with budgetary norms.

Key Skills & Competencies:



Strong leadership and people management skills.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.

Proven track record in sales, preferably in steel, cement, or building materials industry.

Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Ability to motivate teams and deliver results under pressure.

Experience:

3-4 years of sales experience, with at least 1-2 years in a managerial role.

Experience in TMT steel bars, construction materials, or related industries is highly desirable.Others can also apply

Salary : 20,000 to 25,000

Immediate joining candidates are prioritised
