The Zonal Coordinator is responsible for the overall coordination, supervision, and monitoring of organizational programs within the assigned zone. The role ensures effective implementation, high-quality service delivery, and timely achievement of project objectives in alignment with organisational goals.
Key Responsibilities Program Implementation & Monitoring
Oversee the implementation of organizational programs across the assigned zone.
Ensure activities are executed in accordance with approved project plans, timelines, and budgets.
Conduct regular field visits to monitor progress, quality, and impact of interventions.
Team Supervision & Capacity Building
Supervise Project Coordinators, Project Executives, Trainers, and field staff within the zone.Conduct periodic review meetings and provide technical guidance to ensure effective program delivery.
Identify training needs and support capacity-building initiatives for zonal teams.
Coordination & Stakeholder Management
Coordinate with relevant government authorities, CSR partners, and local stakeholders within the zone.
Represent the organization in zone-level meetings, reviews, and forums.
Facilitate community engagement to strengthen program outcomes and sustainability.
Reporting & Documentation
Consolidate daily, weekly, and monthly zonal reports and ensure timely submission to the State/Head Office.
Prepare and submit accurate progress reports, MIS updates, and donor-specific reports.
Maintain proper documentation, case studies, and success stories for knowledge sharing and reporting purposes.
Compliance & Quality Assurance
Ensure adherence to donor guidelines, organizational SOPs, and statutory requirements.
Support audits, monitoring visits, and program evaluations.
Identify potential risks and recommend corrective actions to maintain quality standards.
Planning & Strategy Support
Assist in zonal planning, target setting, and budgeting processes.
Track KPIs and other performance indicators at the zonal level.
Share field insights and recommendations to improve program effectiveness and impact.
Qualifications & Experience
Graduate or Postgraduate in
Social Work, Rural Development, Agriculture, or related fields
.
Fresh graduates or candidates with
0-1 year of internship/project experience
in NGO, social development, or community-based programs are encouraged to apply.
Willingness to
learn, travel, and work in field-based programs
across the assigned zone.
Strong interest in
community development, education, or rural empowerment projects
.
Key Competencies
