Duties

Plan and deliver engaging physical education lessons aligned with curriculum standards Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support individual growth Organize and supervise sports, fitness activities, and recreational events Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and healthy competition among students Maintain a safe environment by enforcing safety guidelines during activities Collaborate with colleagues to integrate physical education with other academic subjects Encourage student participation in extracurricular sports and fitness programs Keep accurate records of attendance, assessments, and student achievements

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or related field; university experience preferred Valid teaching certification or licensure in physical education (if applicable) Strong knowledge of physical fitness, sports techniques, and health education principles Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to motivate students of diverse backgrounds Ability to create an inclusive environment that encourages participation from all students Prior experience working within an educational setting is advantageous Passion for promoting healthy lifestyles and physical activity among youth
