Job Summary

St. John Universal School, Goregaon, is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic

Yoga Teacher

to promote physical fitness, mental well-being, and holistic development among students from Grades 1 to 10, in alignment with ICSE guidelines and the school's values.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and conduct age-appropriate yoga sessions for students of Grades 1-10 Teach basic asanas, pranayama, meditation, relaxation, and mindfulness techniques Incorporate yoga practices that improve flexibility, strength, concentration, and emotional balance Ensure student safety and correct posture during yoga practice Create a positive, inclusive, and disciplined learning environment Integrate yoga education with health, wellness, and value-based education Prepare students for yoga demonstrations, assemblies, competitions, and annual events Maintain attendance records and provide feedback on student progress Collaborate with school staff and participate in meetings, training, and school activities
Qualifications

Certification/Diploma/Degree in Yoga from a recognized institution Bachelor's degree preferred (any discipline) Knowledge of child psychology and age-appropriate teaching methods
Experience

Minimum 1-3 years of experience teaching yoga to school-age children (preferred) Experience in ICSE/CBSE/International schools will be an added advantage

Compensation

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,523.53 - ₹38,567.63 per month
