Job Description

Manage the day-to-day operations of the yard, including

crane mobilization/demobilization

, equipment storage, loading/unloading, and dispatch schedules. Coordinate with the operations, transport, and scheduling teams to ensure cranes and support vehicles are deployed efficiently and on time. Supervise yard staff including operators, riggers, helpers, and mechanics. Ensure proper inspection, maintenance, and servicing of cranes (mobile, crawler, tower) and other fleet vehicles before and after each job. Maintain accurate logs for incoming/outgoing equipment, maintenance schedules, and inventory of lifting accessories (slings, shackles, spreader bars, etc.). Enforce strict

HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment)

practices in the yard; ensure staff use proper PPE and follow safety protocols. Plan and optimize the yard layout for efficient movement and accessibility of cranes, trailers, and support machinery. Track fuel usage, wear and tear, and mechanical performance to prevent breakdowns and minimize downtime. Oversee minor repair activities and coordinate with workshops for major repairs or overhauls.
