About The Role:

- The role is focused on two key things. First, is to help build the PM & Rewards practice by focusing on client delivery. Second, is to help our Scale clients build out a strong People engine. (Scale clients are those with whom xto10x works on long-term projects ( 1 to 2 years) to help them scale.)

- In the first part of the role, you will get to co-own the P&L of the practice and learn how to build and scale a practice. In the second, you will get to deeply be involved in the scaling journey of a company.

What will you get to do?

On PM & Rewards:

1. Converse with founders, leaders and teams to understand their business, and scaling challenges

2. Apply a combination of first-principles, industry knowledge and research to arrive at recommendations on PM & Rewards (Cash Ranges, ESOPs, Incentive etc.) that help companies scale

3. Help shape the thinking of the practice by constantly learning; develop frameworks and models that help synthesize learnings into content for educating the startup ecosystem

4. Learn to build a mini-business by doing work related to marketing, pitch conversations, etc.

On Scale:

1. Understand the client's business needs and work with stakeholders at xto10x and client to build and shape the client's People Engine

2. May entail engaging across the entire people spectrum - Hiring, Org Design, HRBP, Learning & Org Development, Attrition / ENPS etc.

3. Get to a rapid understanding of source issues and come up with a well thought out project plan and execute to have systemic impact on the client's business.

This is what describes you best:

1. A smart generalist who can work across functional areas and solve problems on the go. An overall experience of at least 2 years with experience in Rewards roles in startups/ mid-sized companies / Consulting firms.

2. A strong understanding of business, and the linkage between people and business

3. A big plus if you have actively worked in both business and people roles

4. Demonstrated ability to influence people with founder, CHRO personas

5. Strong process orientation

Performance Metrics:

Impact : Have we made a meaningful difference to the client's business (measured by client NPS and/or qualitative feedback)

Growth : Has the practice grown in the form of both expertise and revenue (measured by perceived thought leadership and revenue respectively)
