Key Responsibilities
Prepare patients for X-ray procedures by explaining the process and positioning them correctly
Operate X-ray and other radiologic imaging equipment safely and accurately
Ensure proper radiation protection for patients, staff, and themselves
Capture high-quality diagnostic images for physician review
Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment according to safety standards
Review images for clarity and accuracy before submission
Follow hospital, clinic, and regulatory safety protocols
Maintain patient records and imaging documentation
Assist physicians during imaging procedures when necessary
Required Skills and Qualifications
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology
Knowledge of human anatomy and medical imaging techniques
Strong attention to detail and technical skills
Ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with patients
Familiarity with medical imaging software and electronic health records
