Key Responsibilities
Perform X-ray examinations as per physician prescriptions and standard protocols
Position patients correctly to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
Operate and maintain X-ray machines and related imaging equipment
Ensure radiation safety for patients, self, and co-workers by following ALARA principles
Explain procedures to patients and address concerns professionally
Verify patient identity and clinical details before imaging
Maintain accurate patient records and image documentation (PACS/RIS)
Assist radiologists during special or contrast procedures, if required
Maintain cleanliness and infection control standards in the imaging area
Report equipment malfunctions to the supervisor or biomedical team
Comply with statutory and regulatory requirements (AERB/atomic safety norms)
Required Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Radiography / Medical Imaging Technology
Valid registration with State Medical Council / AERB-recognized authority (as applicable)
Certification in radiation safety preferred
Experience
Freshers or 1-3 years of experience in diagnostic imaging
Experience in hospital or diagnostic centre settings is an advantage
Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of radiographic techniques and anatomy
Familiarity with digital X-ray systems and PACS
Patient-centric approach with good communication skills
Attention to detail and image quality standards
Ability to work in shifts, including nights and weekends
Team-oriented with a professional and ethical approach
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
