Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Operate X-ray and other imaging equipment to capture diagnostic images as requested by physicians. Position patients correctly to ensure accurate and high-quality imaging results. Explain procedures to patients, address concerns, and ensure their comfort during examinations. Follow all safety protocols to protect patients, staff, and self from unnecessary radiation exposure. Maintain and calibrate radiology equipment to ensure proper functioning. Record, store, and organize imaging results in patient records or electronic medical systems. Assist radiologists and physicians in interpreting images when required. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the radiology department. Adhere to hospital/clinic policies, ethical standards, and patient confidentiality (HIPAA compliance if applicable).
Qualifications & Skills:

Diploma/Degree in Radiology Technology or equivalent certification. Valid license/registration as an X-Ray Technician (as per local regulatory requirements). Knowledge of radiographic procedures, anatomy, and safety standards. Proficiency in using imaging equipment and digital imaging software. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients and healthcare teams. Attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions. Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment.
