Job Description

We are looking to employ a dedicated and skilled X-Ray Technician to take quality X-rays of patients\xe2\x80\x99 bones, soft tissues, or organs as instructed by patients\' physicians. The X-Ray Technician performs x-ray on patients for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes within scope of practice as directed by physician/clinician. The X-Ray Technician will provide patient services using imaging modalities, perform radiographic procedures, apply principles of radiation protection and evaluate radiographs for technical quality, exercise professional judgment in the performance of procedures, and provide patient care essential to the radiological procedures. Minimum Job Requirements \xe2\x80\xa2 Bachelor\'s or associate\'s degree in radiologic technology, radiology, or a related field. \xe2\x80\xa2 Proven experience working as an X-ray technician. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to stand for extended periods. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to move or lift patients. \xe2\x80\xa2 0-3 Years of experience preferred. Freshers can also apply Knowledge, Skills and Abilities \xe2\x80\xa2 Verifying patients\' identity and reviewing physicians\xe2\x80\x99 orders before beginning x-ray procedures. \xe2\x80\xa2 Using x-ray equipment to take radiographic images of patients\' bones, tissues, and organs as per physicians\xe2\x80\x99 written orders. \xe2\x80\xa2 Explaining x-ray procedures to patients and answering their questions. \xe2\x80\xa2 Positioning patients accordingly, which may include lifting and moving patients with limited mobility. \xe2\x80\xa2 Limiting patients\' exposure to radiation by placing lead shields on patients where needed. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensuring that the x-rays taken are of sound quality to prevent repeat procedures. \xe2\x80\xa2 Working closely with the resident Radiologist to determine whether further tests are required. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensuring that the x-ray equipment is regularly serviced and in good working order. \xe2\x80\xa2 Promptly notifying management of damaged or malfunctioning x-ray equipment. \xe2\x80\xa2 Maintaining an accurate record of completed x-ray procedures Job Types: Full-time, Regular / Permanent, Fresher Salary: 98,086.00 - 934,954.85 per month Schedule:
