Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented XML Specialist to join our publishing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and converting content into XML format to ensure accurate and efficient workflows for publishing.

Key Responsibilities

:


+ Convert manuscripts, articles, books, and other content into structured XML formats using industry-standard tools (e.g., XSLT, DITA, TEI).
+ Maintain and organize XML files for easy retrieval, versioning, and collaboration.
+ Ensure compliance with publishing standards and guidelines (e.g., NLM, JATS, EPUB, DITA).
+ Implement custom XML-based workflows to optimize the publishing process.
+ Perform quality checks on XML files, ensuring correct tagging, structure, and data consistency.
+ Collaborate with the editorial and production teams to align content requirements with XML standards.
