Key Responsibilities
Patient Care:
Greet, explain procedures, position patients correctly and comfortably, and ensure their safety during the exam.
Technical Operations:
Operate X-ray units, select appropriate techniques, and produce high-quality images for diagnosis.
Safety & Compliance:
Follow radiation safety protocols (ALARA), maintain equipment, and report malfunctions.
Collaboration:
Work with radiologists and physicians, assisting in complex procedures and providing technical support.
Documentation:
Accurately record patient data, procedure details, and maintain confidentiality.
