Roles & Responsibilities

1. Ensure X-ray Department is clean and ready at all times.

2. Check all X-ray machines are in working condition.

3. Maintain accurate X-ray register (as per NABH standards).

4. Greet and guide patients properly.

5. Take patient history and verify doctor's prescriptions.

6. Explain X-ray procedure to the patient.

7. Position the patient correctly for accurate imaging.

8. Switch on the X-ray machine and perform calibration.

9. Adjust settings based on patient weight and body part.

10. Check film and equipment before exposure.

11. Monitor radiation exposure limits (e.g. Adult: KV 60, MAS 15 / Child: KV 45, MAS 10).

12. Carry out the X-ray study and imaging.

13. Use CR (Computer Radiography) system to read and send images.

14. Edit and print images using the system software.

15. Coordinate with doctors for urgent/emergency imaging needs

Education

: Diploma or Degree in Radiology/X-ray Technology

Experience

: Minimum 1-2 years as X-ray Technician.

Knowledge of X-ray procedures and safety protocols Familiar with CR/DR systems and imaging software Patient handling and positioning Equipment maintenance and troubleshooting Radiation safety awareness

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
