For our TP (Turbine Performance) team within the LO&P (Loads and Performances) Unit in Service Product Integrity and Technology Engineering department we are looking for new colleagues to work with us as a turbine performance and operation analysis engineer. Main mission of analysis engineer is to participate into the technical support processes to the SGRE fleet in order to analyse fleet performance cases. Fleet performance cases covers different kind of activities like supporting performance tests for new turbine upgrades to measure the contribution for increments in the energy production, activities like forecasting market potential for new upgrade solutions, and other activities like analyse cases of energy production underperformance and work into the root cause analysis. This position acts as an interface between fleet operation and turbine designers, so there is a strong interaction with other departments and other engineering disciplines. From the fleet operational side, there is an interaction with very diverse kind of roles, sales and marketing roles to deliver technical support to customer related questions and identify market potential for aftermarket solutions. From the side closer to the solutions design the interaction is mainly with aerodynamics and control engineers. So, the profile requires an overall understanding of the turbine designs, turbine controls operation, turbine components and their operation basis. Proper achievement of these function involves exceptional competences in field data analysis to understand turbine performance and relationships with the turbine designs principles. In the other hand, customer orientation is also important for the role to explain performance cases, and support technical discussions related with performance cases and testing methodologies for the aftermarket products. Since this profile is very close to the fleet operation, it is a key contributor from the operational experience perspective, to identify the lessons learned, optimization of processes and seeking for continuous improvements is also an important expectation for the role. So, proactivity and sense of ownership of the cases are important values in the role. What are my responsibilities . Carrying out performance test after the implementation of upgrade solutions. Identify the best methodologies to be applied in each case, analyse results and test conditions to ensure validity of the test results. . Define and propose test methodologies for Aftermarket products, review technical requests from customers and propose solutions. . Perform root cause analysis of performance cases and contribute with case understanding and description through operational data analysis. Deliver technical support on this area to other teams and departments. . Build automation tools to conduct the data analysis processes. . Implement simulation models for doing a forecast of the potential value of new aftermarket solutions based on sites specific operational data. . Bring learnings to the organization from operational experience of the fleet performance. . Cooperate with the team lead in the specification and development of new technical procedures/methodologies or tools needed to improve the team performance and knowledge What do I need to qualify for this job . To have 4-5 years of University Studies. Engineering Degree on Industrial, Electronics, Telecommunications, Physics, Mathematics, or related Sciences. . To have relevant technical experience (around 3-5 years) preferably in wind industry and solid knowledge in data analysis sciences applied to measure and characterize equipment\'s and components performance. . To have professional experience in data analysis with Matlab and Python. Design of analysis models, automation of processes, design of visualizations and KPIs to understand large data sets. . To have professional experience with automatic control systems, electromechanical systems and industrial instrumentation/testing. . To have professional experience in technical support functions in wind industry or other electro mechanical components industries. . To have knowledge in databases, SQL. . To have knowledge in SCADA systems and industrial communications. . Knowledge in Power BI. Data modelling and dashboards design. . To be proactive, a good team player, persistent and self-driven, with good communication skills and multicultural sensitivity. . To have teamwork skills and ability to work in a cross-department matrix environment. . To have initiative, analysis skills, self-motivated, self-improvement, willing to learn, emotional intelligence and ability to team-work. . You have full professional competence in English.
