Role & Responsibilities

Source and onboard

weaving unit vendors

based on quality, capacity, and cost efficiency Analyze

Purchase Orders (POs)

and prepare accurate

costing with proper yarn & fabric consumption

Plan and calculate

warp, weft, and overall fabric consumption

with realistic wastage Strong understanding of

loom types, weaving techniques, and fabric constructions

Possess hands-on knowledge of

fabric processing stages

including: Dyeing Printing Finishing Sound knowledge of

yarns and yarn blends

, their behavior, and suitability for different fabric processes Coordinate with vendors to ensure

quality, timelines, and cost control

Required Skills & Competencies

Strong

calculation and analytical skills

Proven expertise in

fabric and yarn costing

Accurate

yarn consumption and fabric consumption calculations

Practical knowledge of

process-wise wastages

in: Dyeing Printing Processing Clear understanding of

yarn functionality

for different processes Clear understanding of

fabric functionality

for end-use and processing Good coordination and vendor management skills Willing to travel for vendor visits and process follow-ups

Ideal Candidate Profile

Background in

woven fabric merchandising or production

Exposure to

weaving units and processing houses

Hands-on, detail-oriented, and process-driven Comfortable working in a

cost-sensitive, execution-focused environment
