Job Description

Wound Care:

Cleaning and dressing wounds, including surgical sites, applying bandages, and managing minor injuries.

Infection Control:

Maintaining a sterile environment, sterilizing instruments, and adhering to infection control protocols.

Patient Education:

Educating patients and their families on wound care, hygiene practices, and prevention strategies.

Assistance:

Assisting doctors and nurses with procedures, including the removal of sutures or staples under supervision.

Documentation:

Recording and reporting any abnormalities in wound appearance or patient response to treatment.

Equipment Management:

Ensuring proper maintenance and handling of medical equipment and supplies.

First Aid:

Providing first aid in emergency situations.
