Workstation Engineer

OSI Digitalis looking for anexperienced and certifiedWorkstation Engineersto join our offshore team. These engineers will provideTier 3 supportfor our enterprise workstation environment, with a focus onAVD (Azure Virtual Desktop),SCCM,Intune,GPO, andAzureinfrastructure. The ideal candidates willpossessdeep technicalexpertisein workstation architecture, includingnetwork protocols,proxy/firewallconfigurations, andenterprise security standards.
Responsibilities:
Provide advanced (Tier 3) support for workstation-related escalations, including root cause analysis and resolution.
Manage andoptimizeAVD host pools, session hosts, and VM images using tools like Azure Image Builder.
Configure and troubleshootFSLogixprofiles, Azure AD integration, Group Policies, and MSIX app attach.
Support SCCM and Intune for software deployment, patching, compliance, and endpoint configuration.
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex issues involving proxy,firewall, VPN, and network routing.
Lead orassistin the deployment and maintenance of workstation infrastructure in Azure.
Maintain documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base articles for support processes.
Participate in change management, incident response, and disaster recovery planning.
Provide mentorship and guidance to Tier 1 and Tier 2 support teams.
Required Skills:
6+ years of experience in enterprise workstation engineering or IT infrastructure support.
Proven experience with:
Microsoft Azure and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)
Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM)
Microsoft Intune and Autopilot
Group Policy Management (GPO)
Windows 10/11 and Windows Server environments
Strong understanding of:
Proxy andfirewallconfigurations
Network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
Azure AD and hybrid identity models
Experience withFSLogix, MSIX app attach, and session host scaling.
Excellent troubleshooting and documentation skills.
Preferred Certifications
Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate (MD-100/MD-101)
Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate
ITIL Foundation or equivalent
