Role Overview

The Workshop Technician will be responsible for carrying out vehicle inspections, maintenance, and repair work. The role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and adherence to Hyundai's service guidelines to ensure safe and reliable vehicle performance.

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on Hyundai vehicles.

Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and technical issues using modern diagnostic tools.

Ensure repairs and replacements are carried out as per Hyundai's standards.

Conduct pre-delivery inspections and road tests after service/repair.

Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the workshop, tools, and equipment.

Record job details, parts used, and time taken in job cards accurately.

Report complex issues to the Service Advisor or Workshop Manager for guidance.

Follow safety procedures and ensure compliance with workshop standards.

Support the team in achieving customer satisfaction and workshop efficiency targets.

Skills & Qualifications

ITI / Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).

1-3 years of experience as a technician in an automobile workshop (Hyundai or other dealership preferred).

Strong technical knowledge of automobile systems and diagnostics.

Familiarity with modern workshop tools and equipment.

Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.

Basic computer knowledge for job card entry (preferred).
