We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Workshop Manager to oversee our operations and lead our team in delivering exceptional service. This role requires a proactive approach to managing staff, inventory, and customer relations while fostering a positive work environment.

Duties

Supervise daily workshop operations, ensuring high standards of customer service and efficiency. Manage staff recruitment, training, and development to enhance team performance. Oversee inventory management, including purchasing and stock control to maintain optimal levels. Implement effective sales strategies and merchandising techniques to maximize revenue. Conduct employee orientations and performance evaluations to promote professional growth. Handle payroll processing and bookkeeping tasks accurately and efficiently. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all aspects of workshop management. Maintain effective communication with team members to facilitate collaboration and resolve issues promptly. Utilize retail math for pricing strategies, budgeting, and financial reporting. Foster a positive customer experience through excellent service, addressing inquiries, and resolving complaints.

Skills

Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence others effectively. Proficiency in employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting, and training & development. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for enhancing communication with diverse customers. Experience in payroll processing, bookkeeping, inventory management, and cash handling. Proven supervisory experience in retail sales or workshop environments. Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail for inventory control and merchandising. Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively. Familiarity with POS systems and retail math principles for accurate transactions and reporting. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, including phone etiquette.
