Workshop Manager - Electric Bus Fleet Operations

Objective:

To manage the maintenance, repair, and overall performance of a fleet of electric buses, ensuring safety, efficiency, uptime, and regulatory compliance.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

This is a full-time on-site role for a Workshop Manager - EV Bus commercial vehicle, located in Chennai.

1. Fleet Maintenance Management

2. Workshop Operations Oversight

3. Team Leadership

4. Asset & Inventory Management

6. Reporting & Documentation

7. Ability to work independently and lead a team

8. Coordination & Communication

Additionally, the Workshop manager will coordinate with various departments to align maintenance activities with business objectives and contribute to strategic planning for workshop operations.

Required Skills

Knowledge of electric vehicle and components.

Strong leadership and communication skills.

Familiarity with fleet management systems (FMS).

Qualifications

Degree or diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Automotive Engineering.

Experience

Requires 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in the automotive or electric vehicle industry.

Salary Budget - CTC -50 to 55k
