Workshop Instructor - Machinist

Responsibilities:

Conduct practical sessions and demonstrations on machining processes such as turning, milling, drilling, shaping, grinding, and fitting.


Guide students in performing machining jobs as per syllabus and workshop assignments.


Ensure all machines, tools, and instruments are properly maintained and in good working condition.


Enforce safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized workshop environment.


Assist in preparing tools, materials, and job sheets required for practical sessions.


Carry out preventive maintenance and minor repairs of workshop equipment.


Maintain records of attendance, materials, and completed student jobs.


Support faculty in laboratory/workshop examinations and assessments.


Provide technical assistance for departmental projects and fabrication work.
