Role Overview

The Workshop Electrician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining the electrical systems of Hyundai vehicles. The role requires technical knowledge of automotive electrical systems, troubleshooting ability, and adherence to Hyundai's service guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair electrical issues in Hyundai vehicles (wiring, battery, alternator, starter, lighting, AC systems, sensors, etc.).

Carry out routine inspections, maintenance, and servicing of electrical systems.

Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify faults and ensure accurate repairs.

Support installation and calibration of electrical and electronic components.

Ensure all repairs are performed in compliance with Hyundai's quality standards.

Document work performed and maintain job card entries accurately.

Coordinate with service advisors and workshop technicians for smooth workflow.

Follow workshop safety standards and maintain tools/equipment properly.

Assist in achieving CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) and workshop performance goals.

Skills & Qualifications

ITI / Diploma in Automobile, Electrical, or related field (mandatory).

1-3 years of experience as an automobile electrician (Hyundai or other dealership experience preferred).

Strong technical knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and diagnostics.

Ability to use modern diagnostic tools and software.

Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Basic computer knowledge for job card entry (preferred).
