: AWS VDI SME Job Summary: We are seeking a Subject Matter Expert (SME) with deep expertise in AWS Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) solutions, including Amazon WorkSpaces and AppStream 2.0. The role involves design, implementation, optimization, and BAU support for secure and scalable virtual desktop environments. Key Responsibilities: AWS VDI Design & Implementation Architect and deploy Amazon WorkSpaces and AppStream 2.0 environments for enterprise users. Configure VDI policies, user profiles, and application streaming. Integrate VDI with Active Directory and implement SSO solutions. Performance Optimization & Monitoring Monitor VDI performance using AWS CloudWatch and other tools. Optimize resource allocation for cost efficiency and scalability. Troubleshoot latency, connectivity, and application performance issues. Security & Compliance Implement MFA, encryption, and secure access policies for VDI environments. Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards. Automation & Scripting Develop automation scripts using PowerShell, AWS CLI, or Python for provisioning and maintenance. BAU Support & Incident Management Provide L3 support for VDI-related incidents and escalations. Perform root cause analysis and permanent fixes for recurring issues. Maintain documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles. Integration & Migration Lead migration projects from on-prem VDI solutions (Citrix, VMware Horizon) to AWS WorkSpaces/AppStream. Ensure seamless integration with enterprise applications and identity services.
