Workforce Staffing (WFS) manages Amazon's Tier 1 talent supply chain. We attract, hire, and onboard the associates who, by fulfilling orders at the frontlines of the company, make Amazon a global leader in delivery and logistics.

The role holder will work across APAC countries to drive the community engagement portfolio enabling the hiring of associates from under represented cohorts (URC).




The Workforce Staffing Specialist will be responsible for developing a network of national community-based partners, and develop strategic relationships, not including military partnerships, to inspire hourly job seekers to consider Amazon as their employer of choice (does not require tactical pool creation and onboarding of candidates). The role will be based out of India. The role holder will develop a deep understanding of Amazon's near and long-term hourly workforce staffing needs, developing strategies and drive mechanisms, in partnership with internal and external partners, to enable Amazon to meet those needs in an inclusive, efficient, systematic and measurable manner.







Key job responsibilities

Conceptualize new strategic initiatives that could be built around or benefit from corporate, foundation, government, bilateral organizations or other partnerships; Collaborate with cross-functional teams to structure and execute initiatives, lead analysis and develop and communicate final recommendations for growing partner relationships; Develop, negotiate and manage partner agreements; Assist with coordinating the management of ongoing relationships with existing partners and where relevant, leverage those relationships to greater collective impact; Develop and manage financial reporting and tracking of strategic partnership activities; Support the analysis and tracking of key metrics to evaluate immediate and long-term success of partnerships and relationships; Assist in the development of systems and procedures in support of the identification, engagement and development of strategic partnerships; Identify opportunity areas in building an inclusive workplace for underrepresented cohorts at Amazon and drive alignment with senior leadership across functions - creating detailed proposal and implementation roadmaps covering infrastructure accommodations, systems, process and technology and communications and sensitization ; Continuously seek to adapt and innovate to ensure WFS' Community Engagement efforts continuously improve in measurable ways; Support the development and implementation plans to support community engagement efforts at the grassroots level in partnership with WFS staffing and sourcing managers; Support increasing goodwill and knowledge of hourly job opportunities with national, state and local influencers through experiential learning opportunities (e.g. tours, speaking engagements, and workshops); Partner with internal stakeholders, such as recruiting and sourcing management teams; military recruiters; public policy teams (state and local); public relations teams; local operations and HR teams, diversity and inclusion teams, etc. to ensure alignment;

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Program Management, Human Resources, Employment Law, Computer Science, Finance, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, Operations Research or a related field 5+ years of HR, talent acquisition, management consulting, or project/program management experience Experience communicating complex concepts clearly and persuasively to different audiences

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

6+ years of delivering cross functional projects experience, or a MBA and 4+ years of working cross functionally across several teams experience Experience in leading large, cross functional projects Deep understanding of Applicant Tracking Systems, Workforce Development Experience, Talent Acquisition experience, Program Management Experience, Community Engagement Experience, Public Relations Experience Exceptional analytical and structured problem solving skills
