HR Systems Specialist
to help elevate how we support and enable HR teams through technology, with a strong focus on
Workday HCM and Reporting
.
About the Role
This role sits at the heart of our HR digital ecosystem supporting the European HR Systems & Analytics team. You'll work closely with regional HR teams to support, troubleshoot, and test new functionality in Workday and ServiceNow, helping make sure our systems run smoothly and are fit for purpose. You'll also manage stakeholder intake, coordinate user testing, and create clear documentation to support system updates. While this is not a configuration role, you'll need a solid understanding of how it works in order to support, test, and communicate effectively.
What You'll Do
Support & Troubleshooting (50%)
Manage support tickets from HR teams across Europe using ServiceNow
Perform data corrections and manage mass uploads (e.g. hires, promotions, terminations) via Workday EIBs
Troubleshoot Workday issues and escalate to configuration teams where needed
Monitor recurring issues and propose improvements to reduce future errors
Support HR users with reporting needs, basic custom report creation, and data validation
Maintain awareness of Workday functionality to advise users appropriately
Stakeholder Engagement (25%)
Run intake meetings to understand HR team challenges and identify system-related needs
Gather and document business requirements for change requests and feature updates
Partner with local and global HR teams, COEs, and project managers to support rollouts
Coordinate communications and training with key users when system changes are implemented
Act as the link between HR and technical teams to ensure smooth delivery and adoption
Testing & Documentation (25%)
Lead end-to-end functional testing of Workday updates, enhancements, and new releases
Collaborate with configuration teams to validate that solutions meet business needs
Ensure testing is well documented, reproducible, and auditable
Create clear and practical user guides, training materials, and FAQs
Maintain a library of documentation to support ongoing HR systems knowledge and adoption
Help prepare internal communication about upcoming system changes and impacts
What You Bring
Experience supporting HR systems or operations in a regional or global environment
Hands-on experience working with Workday HCM. Experience working with a ticketing system like ServiceNow is a plus
Analytical mindset with data instincts; proven ability to spot data inconsistencies and ask the right questions that find the root cause
Proficiency in Excel (e.g. pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) and strong attention to detail
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
