Role Overview This Workday specialist is an inquisitive, energetic, and collaborative People Systems Analyst who can assist with Trimble\'s goal of continually increasing Workday\'s efficiency and functionality in its work environment. Working collaboratively, this position will be assisting with a broad range of activities including configuring, testing, troubleshooting, and experience with other Workday modules is a plus. The role will primarily support Compensation and act as a support for a global project and configuration team with the opportunity to learn specific module support and configuration. Roles & Responsibilities Work independently on technically advanced configuration projects with the ability to clearly communicate project status, connect with stakeholders to gather requirements, and ask for support and guidance from the team when necessary. Consider end to end test scripts when working on new configuration, and can utilize big picture thinking to plan new configuration effectively for a large organization and technical ecosystem. Supports global ticketing system which can include requests such as general troubleshooting and PX requests from global stakeholders. Assist with testing of new Workday functionality and regular Workday semi-annual release updates. Replicates and verifies customer issues and escalates appropriately to the People Systems SMEs. Serve as project owner for new Workday initiatives, including assistance with configuration, data loads, and testing. Measure of success Effectively analyzes, troubleshoots and resolves HRIS issues to completion focuses on continuous improvement, tenant optimization. Assists in effective review, testing and implementation of Workday semi-annual release updates. Ability to provide accurate and timely data for audit documentation requests, ticket requests, and general People Systems inquiries. Participates as part of the team responsible for Trimble\'s Workday support help desk which services employee questions, data requests, report requests, access issues, including global WD accounts and supervisory organization maintenance. Create EIB loads, including ensuring that data is complete and accurate prior to completing the loads. These can include mandatory pay increase EIBs, acquisition data loads, and reorgs. Teams with PX Partners and People Ops to maintain data integrity. Effectively and accurately configure Compensation requests that may include, merit and equity annual processes, bonus design and configuration, creating/updating job profiles, regrades, creating eligibility rules, validation rules, complex calculated fields and reporting. Assisting as back up for SMEs in other Workday modules as necessary. Education, Experience & other qualification requirements 5+ years supporting HRIS systems and at least 3 years of technical Workday experience. Experience creating complex Workday calculated fields, eligibility and validation rules. Experience utilizing BIRT is a plus. Proven experience in thinking outside the box to come up with solutions to solve business problems. Experience in supporting a global ticketing system for PX systems. Experience in translating business objectives and user needs into clearly written technical requirements. Experience in maintaining/creating detailed configuration, design and development documentation, creating a library of test scenarios and test cases and communicating technical specifications to non-technical business partners. Excellent collaboration, communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational, analytical, problem solving, and multi-tasking skills. Familiarity with human resource (PX) policies and procedures to ensure People Systems meets the organizational needs and goals. Ability to work independently and perform against tight deadlines and multi-task effectively. Self-motivator balanced with a desire to achieve team goals. Advanced Excel skills including VLookup, creating calculations and pivot table experience required.
