Finastra is embarking on a transformation journey, part of which is to digitise HR. This role is part of the People Technology team and central to that transformation journey. This role will be responsible for the delivery and execution of plans to enhance workday and create the technology landscape to achieve the strategic objectives with the HR technology stack.Responsibilities & Deliverables:

• Work with key business and IT stakeholders to confirm and document requirements

• Review and consider design alternatives and complete requirements definition, functional specifications, analysis and design, system setup, configurations, testing, cutover and deployment to production and ultimately drive requirements sign-off

Configure workday to meet business demands and the log term functional roadmap

• Evaluate, communicate and coordinate the technical impacts of application configuration decisions

• Create detailed system interface specifications, field mapping, and system process designs

• Prepare detailed technical documentation to support design and ongoing maintenance of completed integrations

• Develop, test and deploy integrations required to meet business requirements

• Track issues and risks, communicate status and escalate concerns to Workday Team Manager.

• Responsible for ticket management, triaging issue resolution, determining root cause and implementing corrections

• Responsible for the integration framework which outlines integration management, access and changes request process

• Build and maintain the integration catalogue /data mappings and the technical design documentation for all Workday inbound and outbound integrations.

Required Experience:

• Able to demonstrate the creation of innovative solutions for complex Workday integrations

• A good understanding of integration design and testing concepts and integration frameworks (e.g. middleware, transformation logic)

• Project experience in a technical role utilizing Workday

• Demonstrated proficiency with Web Service; inbound and outbound ERP and SaaS connectors; Payroll Interfaces including payroll and benefit vendors

• Thrive on simultaneously operating at multiple levels and managing multiple responsibilities

• Creative and resourceful approach to the business and stakeholders, and an ability to think and deliver creative value-added solutions to business through self-initiative and ownership

• Exceptional written and verbal communication

• Ability to concentrate & demonstrate a capacity for learning new technologies quickly

• Experience contributing to solution design activities
