We seek a skilled and creative Web Developer to join our dynamic team. The developer will be responsible for designing, coding, and modifying websites, tailoring them to our client's specifications to create visually appealing sites with user-friendly design and clear navigation.
Key Responsibilities:
Website Development:
Write well-designed, testable, efficient code using best software development practices. Create website layouts/user interfaces using standard HTML/CSS/XML/JavaScript/PHP/WordPress/Laravel/React. Design and build responsive, mobile-friendly websites optimised for various devices and browsers.
Maintenance and Enhancement:
Maintain, expand, and scale our sites. Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends. Implement and maintain website content management systems. Perform regular updates and enhancements to existing websites.
Collaboration:
Work closely and engage with team members and stakeholders.
Testing and Troubleshooting:
Regularly test websites for ease of use, speed, and other quality factors. Address and resolve any bugs or issues. Perform both new and ongoing website testing and correct potential errors.
Client Interaction:
Collect and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs. Communicate with clients to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements.
Documentation:
Create and maintain software documentation. Manage databases for website functionality.
Qualifications:
2-5 years of proven experience in web programming.
Expertise in HTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript, PHP, Laravel, React, Word Press
Experience with platforms such as Wix, Squarespace, WordPress, Shopify, eCommerce, and WooCommerce is advantageous (theme-based development).
Strong understanding of web application architecture, including security, session management, and best development practices.
Knowledge of relational database systems, Object-Oriented Programming, and web application development.
Experience with network diagnostics and analytics tools.
Understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that applications adhere to them.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and solve issues quickly.
Strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects within tight deadlines.
Ability to adapt and learn new technologies rapidly.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field is preferred.
