Role overview

As a WordPress developer, you will be responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of WordPress-based websites. Your role will involve collaborating with clients, designers, and other developers to create functional and visually appealing websites that meet the project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop custom WordPress themes from scratch or modify existing themes to meet client specifications.

Create custom plugins to extend the functionality of WordPress websites as per project requirements.

Customize existing WordPress themes and plugins to achieve desired aesthetics and functionality.

Implement responsive and cross-browser compatible designs using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery.

Utilize PHP and MySQL to develop custom functionalities, manage databases, and handle server-side tasks.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (preferred). Proven work experience as a WordPress developer or similar role. Portfolio showcasing WordPress projects and code samples. Experience with popular WordPress page builders such as Element orBeaver Builder. Knowledge of SEO best practices for WordPress websites. Experience with e-commerce platforms such as Woo Commerce. Familiarity with WordPress multisite configurations.
