We are a recruitment agency representing a digital solutions agency that is seeking a skilled and experienced WordPress Developer to join their team. The ideal candidate should be proficient in developing custom plugins and themes, as well as possess the expertise to customize existing plugins and themes. The candidate should have a strong command of PHP, WordPress, JavaScript, jQuery, and various APIs, including WordPress REST APIs.

Key Responsibilities

=> WordPress Development

Build & customize

themes and plugins

. Work with

WordPress hooks & filters

for advanced functionality. Develop

WooCommerce stores

with advanced product variations, checkout flows, and payment gateways. Create and customize

booking forms, custom forms, and inquiry flows

. Build

membership websites

(e.g., MemberPress, Restrict Content Pro). Develop

course/learning websites

(e.g., LearnDash, LifterLMS). Implement and customize popular page builders (

Elementor, Divi

) while extending them with

custom code

. Manage

multi-language websites (WPML/Polylang)

.

=> Shopify Development

Customize

themes using Liquid code

. Build custom Shopify features beyond standard templates. Implement

advanced product pages, custom checkout workflows, and third-party integrations.

=> General Development

Perform

API integrations

(CRMs, ERPs, Payment Gateways, etc.). Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve performance/security issues. Optimize websites for

speed, SEO readiness, and scalability

. Manage end-to-end delivery -- from

planning to deployment

Requirements

Minimum

1+ years full-time experience

in WordPress & Shopify development. Hands-on experience with

popular WordPress plugins

(ACF, Gravity Forms, WPForms, WPML/Polylang, etc.). Experience developing

custom solutions

from scratch (not just configuring). Familiarity with

Git/version control systems

. Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in:

PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, jQuery

WordPress core functions, hooks, filters

Shopify Liquid code customization

WooCommerce, Elementor, Divi, booking/membership/course plugins

HTML5, CSS3, responsive design frameworks

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

Headless WordPress or Shopify experience. Knowledge of

REST APIs & GraphQL

. Exposure to CI/CD workflows (deployment pipelines). Experience with

server-level optimization

(caching, CDN, staging setups).
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
