This position will be WFO, but you will be working closely with the teams in the United States and Canada through video chat, instant messaging, e-mail, phone, and our software. Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented

WordPress developer with WooCommerce Experience

to design, develop, and maintain WordPress-based websites and eCommerce solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in

WordPress themes, plugins, WooCommerce customization, and integrations

while ensuring performance, security, and seamless user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites and WooCommerce stores. Build and modify

custom themes, child themes, and plugins

as needed. Configure and optimize WooCommerce functionalities such as product pages, checkout, shipping, and payment gateways. Ensure

cross-browser, cross-device, and cross-platform compatibility

. Optimize website performance for

speed, SEO, and security best practices

. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues with themes, plugins, or integrations. Integrate third-party APIs, CRMs, and marketing automation tools with WordPress/WooCommerce. Work closely with design, content, and marketing teams to implement site updates and new features. Stay updated on the latest

WordPress, WooCommerce, and web development trends

Requirements:

Proven experience as a

WordPress/WooCommerce Developer

(portfolio or case studies required). Strong proficiency in

PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery, and MySQL

. Experience with

WooCommerce setup, customization, and plugin development

. Familiarity with

page builders

(Elementor, WPBakery, Gutenberg, etc.). Knowledge of

REST APIs, hooks, filters, and custom post types

. Understanding of

SEO principles, website performance optimization, and security

. Ability to use version control tools (Git) and manage deployments. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications (Optional):

Experience with

payment gateways

(PayPal, Stripe, etc.) and shipping integrations. Knowledge of

headless WordPress

or JAM stack. Familiarity with

server management, cPanel, and hosting environments

UI/UX best practices

and working with designers (Figma/Adobe XD).
