Key Responsibilities
Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites
Create custom themes and modify existing themes as per business requirements
Develop and customize WordPress plugins when required
Convert Figma/PSD/HTML designs into fully responsive WordPress websites
Work with page builders such as Elementor, WPBakery, Gutenberg, etc.
Ensure website performance, security, scalability, and best coding practices
Optimize websites for SEO, page speed, and performance
Troubleshoot and debug website issues, bugs, and errors
Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility
Manage website updates, backups, and regular maintenance
Handle website migration, hosting environments, and server configurations
Work with WooCommerce development, including product setup, customization, and payment gateway integration
Use performance optimization tools to improve site speed and user experience
Collaborate with designers using tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar design software
Apply basic UI/UX principles to enhance website usability and design consistency
Coordinate with internal teams to meet project timelines and client expectations
Maintain clear communication and manage tasks efficiently to meet deadlines
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong experience with WordPress CMS
Proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery
Experience in custom theme and plugin development
Strong knowledge of WooCommerce development
Familiarity with page builders (Elementor, WPBakery, Gutenberg, etc.)
Basic understanding of UI/UX principles
Ability to use Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar design tools
Experience with website migration and hosting environments
Familiarity with performance optimization and debugging tools
Understanding of MySQL and database management
Knowledge of website security, SEO, and performance best practices
Experience working with international clients (UK/US/Canada) is a plus
Strong problem-solving, debugging, communication, and time-management skills
