Job Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced WordPress Developer to join our team at NSDA TECH. The ideal candidate will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including creating WordPress themes and plugins, site customization, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness for all designs. You will work closely with our design and content teams to bring our clients' visions to life, ensuring technical feasibility and optimal user experience.

Responsibilities

Designing and implementing new features and functionalities for WordPress websites. Establishing and guiding the website's architecture. Ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS. Developing and customizing WordPress themes and plugins. Conducting website performance tests and troubleshooting content issues. Collaborating with front-end developers and designers to ensure seamless integration of user-facing elements. Ensuring the website is responsive and compatible across various browsers and devices. Implementing and managing website security measures. Performing regular website maintenance, updates, and backups. Optimizing websites for SEO best practices. Staying up-to-date with the latest WordPress trends, best practices, and security vulnerabilities.

QualificationsRequired Skills & Experience

Proven work experience as a WordPress Developer, with a strong portfolio of live websites. Solid understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and responsive design principles. Proficiency in PHP and MySQL. Extensive experience with WordPress core, themes, and plugins. Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex WordPress issues. Strong understanding of web security best practices. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Skills

Experience with front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js, Angular). Knowledge of SEO principles and best practices. Familiarity with server management and deployment processes. Experience with e-commerce platforms (e.g., WooCommerce). Understanding of UI/UX principles. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
