Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Customize and develop WordPress themes and plugins according to project requirements. Modify existing themes using child themes and custom CSS, HTML, PHP, and JavaScript. Create and manage custom post types, taxonomies, and advanced custom fields (ACF). Integrate third-party APIs and tools into WordPress websites. Optimize websites for speed, performance, and SEO. Build and maintain websites using

Wix

,

Webflow

, and

Squarespace

when required. Ensure responsive design and cross-browser compatibility. Troubleshoot website issues and perform routine maintenance. Collaborate with UI/UX designers and project managers to translate design concepts into functioning websites. Stay up to date with the latest web development trends and technologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience in

WordPress theme and plugin customization

. Proficient in

PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery

. Strong understanding of

WordPress architecture

and the

WordPress Codex

. Hands-on experience with page builders like

Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg

. Experience working with

Wix

,

Webflow

, and

Squarespace

- understanding their limitations and capabilities. Experience with responsive and mobile-first web design. Familiarity with SEO principles and website performance optimization. Knowledge of version control systems like

Git

is a plus. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
