Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic

WordPress Developer

to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing websites using the WordPress platform. You will collaborate with our team to create visually appealing, user-friendly, and responsive websites that meet client or company objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Website Development: Develop and customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet project requirements. Build responsive, user-friendly, and optimized websites. Maintenance & Updates: Regularly update and maintain existing WordPress sites, ensuring compatibility with the latest WordPress versions and plugins. Custom Functionality: Implement custom functionality using WordPress hooks, filters, and APIs. Bug Fixing: Identify and resolve technical issues, including cross-browser compatibility and performance optimization. Collaboration: Work closely with designers, content creators, and project managers to deliver high-quality websites. SEO Optimization: Ensure websites are SEO-friendly, implementing best practices for performance and on-page optimization. Testing: Conduct thorough testing to ensure websites function as intended across all devices and browsers.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or a related field (preferred). Experience: Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in WordPress development.

Skills Required

Proficiency in WordPress, including theme and plugin development. Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and PHP. Familiarity with MySQL and database management. Experience with version control systems like Git. Understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development. Knowledge of website performance optimization techniques. Basic understanding of SEO principles.

Preferred Skills

Experience with popular page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, or Divi. Familiarity with e-commerce platforms like WooCommerce. Knowledge of APIs and third-party integrations. Basic graphic design skills using tools like Photoshop or Canva.
