Role Description

This is a full-time remote position for a WordPress Developer. The ideal candidate will manage the creation and optimization of WordPress websites, including design, development, and implementation of functionality. Responsibilities include handling both front-end and back-end development, ensuring mobile responsiveness, addressing client requirements, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining high standards for website performance and security.

Qualifications

Proficiency in Back-End Web Development, including custom theme and plugin development for WordPress Strong Front-End Development skills, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and experience with frameworks Expertise in Responsive Web Design and ensuring optimal website performance across devices Competence in Web Design and overall Web Development to deliver visually appealing and functional websites Familiarity with SEO principles and website optimization Effective problem-solving and debugging skills Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and familiarity with APIs Strong communication and collaboration skills Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Own laptop/desktop and stable internet connection

Availability to work in

IST with 3 hours overlap with EST

Immediate joining preferred

What you will work on

Build and customize WordPress websites Work with themes, plugins, and page builders (Elementor / Gutenberg) Fix website issues related to layout, speed, and responsiveness Improve website performance and basic SEO Learn and apply best practices for security and optimization Continuously improve websites through analysis and feedback
